মনে মনে সঙ্গোপনে
ধরা রচেছ ওগো প্রিয়
মনেরই কথা মর্মগাঁথা
মানস-কলাপে শোভনীয়

ফুল তৃলি মনকে তৃপ্তি দিতে
মণি খুঁজি মনে দীপ্তি আনিতে
মন ভাবনাতে চাই নাকো দিতে
কোন বাধা অবাঞ্ছনীয়

মোর কাজ তোমাকে তৃপ্ত করা
তব মন মাঝে দীপ্তি ভরা
হে প্রিয় আমার হে প্রীতি-ঝরা
মোরে মনোমত করে’ নিও

Inwardly and in private,
Earth You've built, oh Beloved...
Inner thoughts wreathed in heart
With mind's splendid ornaments.

Blooms I pluck to please the mind;
Gems I seek mentally to bring light.
By prudent thought I want not to give
Some unwelcome obstacle.

To satisfy You is my duty,
Mid Your mind, fully shining.
