কুসুম শোভার এ বিতানে
আজকারে মনে পড়ে বিহান বেলা
দ্যুতির বিকিরণে অণু মননে
অনন্ত লীলা
চন্দন-সুরভিতে কে সে এসেছে
নন্দন মাধুরীতে ধরা দিয়েছে
রঙের সাথে রাগে মাতাতে
সে এলো একেলা
মনের মদিরা উপচিয়া পড়েছে
ভাবের মহোদধি নেচে' চলেছে
তার কেউ পর নয় নাই সময়-অসময়
করে সবে উতলা
Translation
Underneath this canopy of flower-beauty,
Presently I recollect the morning time.
With resplendent dissipation in atomic thinking,
Boundless is the sport divine
With sweet scent of sandalwood, Who did appear;
Has He yielded to a sweetness gladdening?
Along with dye and music-mode to excite greatly,
He arrived, unaccompanied.
The wine of mind has become overflowing;
Imagination's great ocean has gone on dancing.
For Him none is foreign, no good or bad time be;
Effusive does He make everybody.
